I have been stuck in front of the box for the past 2 nights.. I mean literally. The only difference is which box. I spend my time travelling between different places, to catch the games before they kick off.
Take today for example, 3 matches in a row, with an hour in btw for rest. I was supposed to meet Rin n Cj at Modestos at 8 plus 9 probably. But I definitively stuck my arse at home, n I figured that.. oh well.. since England vs Paraguay match has started, I might as well finish the first half then TRY to make my way to town in 10 mins, to continue with the second. And exactly that I did. Of cos, my dad figured that out, and was screaming after me to not speed. SOP.
Now is 6.10am in the morning. I came back from WH's house after finishing the last match of the day. I never thought I could sit through 3 matches in a row, and still be genuinely interested. Of cos I guess it did help that Argentina vs Ivory Coast's match was the most exciting amongst today's 3.
Bets bets bets!! Had a bad day yesterday.. damn ... but tmr's a new day .. here I come! Congrats lah Cj... quite a few wins for ya tonite..
This is just the beginning... and after all these... reality WILL COME rushing back straight in my face. Please GOD.... let this not end so quickly.......

so, i HAVE been forced to watch these matches, seeing as my rights to the tv have been acceded.
i didnt watch the argentina match cos i was in dreamland. but england was so idiotic. theyre so complacent after getting one measly goal. hopefully the next round will be more exciting.
i conclude that watching at home is MUCH better than watching at the pub, cos i get to slum it on the sofa and i can SEE the tv properly instead of in a darkened pub. i dont have to squeeze with strangers (HK pubs very small la) and there is no ciggie smoke.
also, i have been appointed the recorder of mr. t's bets. argh! how annoying. and have been forced to understand the offside rule and how football betting works. still havent totally comprehended both. haha.
i think some of the matches are tolerable, altho it gets annoying when some teams play crappily.
HAHA... if there is anything u need help with on understanding... ask me! hahah .... bets n offside rules.. I m ok.. save some pride infront of these men .. hahah
