It's gonna be a short entry, and a sad one for me. England is out. And so is Brazil.
This is prob the most depressing match day I have gone through. Other than the fact that I lost moolahs.. I am very saddened by the results. But ... welcome to the world of soccer ........
Kudos to England for hangin on with 10 men ... but penalty shoot outs really ain't your cup of tea ya... er.. let's try not to bring the game THAT far the next time round....
Brazil Brazil..... did well too.. but France really did prove to be the better team. But I AM MAJORLY UPSET... as I know and am very sure that if Brazil played with the god-given tenacity and creativity, France would not have caught a whiff of a goal. Nonetheless, this was the best game in the tournament so far..... great football... Zidane is a magician I swear ..... rightly deserved scoreline for the performance put up today ...
It's time for me to rest, and await the semi-finals.... And I am typing at such a slow speed and with such a melancholic mood that I am gonna stop now. Tired ............

ur entry prompts my need to rant. ENGLAND CANNOT TAKE PENALTIES FOR NUTZ! they missed 3 out of 5 penalties and had to be sent home by a gay pinup (ie, c.ronaldo)?! and they have never won a penalty shootout before. seeing their propensity for draws, what they should start doing right now is to train their boys to take penalties for 2010.
this is not to say that portugal deserved to win. i say put argentina in the semis above these 2 teams anyday, because at least THEY put up a fight.
so brazil lost. but they have won the thing so many times, i think its abt time, they let someone else win.
i hope portugal wins it because they havent won it before, but it'll prob be the germans lifting the cup this yr.
Portugal better not win I say.. they play so smelly.. I don't like...... ya .. its prob gonna be e germans.. but i still hoping the romans can win this.. at least they are cuter n less irritatin than those sharp nosed lanky fellas...
everytime i watch germany, mr. t goes, "eh, got cute guy" to me. and by that he means ballack.
i want to peng san. ballack is NOT cute.
i think it italy got in by fluke, because they were up against ukraine, which was merely banking on schechenko's star power. so im not putting my money on italy.
but it will be a pleasant surprise if they win.
